Welcome to Midland.

We worship at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.  We recognize that God has given us many ways in which to worship and therefore do not label our worship service as traditional or contemporary.  We understand that people are spiritually led in different ways.   We do not have a dress code.  Worshipers at Midland UMC wear anything from jeans and T-shirts, to slacks and golf shirts, to suits and ties.  Please wear whatever you feel is most comfortable. Child care is available during all services for infants and toddlers in our staffed nursery room next to Fellowship Hall. Children ages 3 years old - 6th grade attend the first part of the service through the Children's Time, then are dismissed to attend Sunday school. Coffee and snacks are served following worship.

Plenty of parking is available in our lot. You may drop off in front of the doors and there is handicapped parking available as well.  The building is wheelchair accessible.

First time here?:

When you walk through the doors at Midland, you will be greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome gift.

In the United Methodist Church, we understand that Jesus invites us to the Communion table. All who love God, seek to follow Jesus and endeavor to live in peace with one another are welcome. Although the means of receiving Communion may differ at various times of the year, you will be clearly invited and led by our ushers. The elements always consist of bread and grape juice. We are working to develop gluten-free and dietary-sensitive alternatives, as well. If you are unable to come forward for Communion, an usher will be sure you may receive it where you are sitting.

At some point during worship, offering plates will be passed around. This is an opportunity to actively respond to all God has given us by freely giving to support the church through the ministries of Midland UMC.

Why we're here : Grow in personal faith, Witness joyfully and humbly through God’s grace and Serve God by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
