Outreach Is Reaching Out

The 1st annual Midland Fall Festival was held on September 29th. 14 adults and 22 children enjoyed ring toss, bobbing for apples, fishing for prizes, playing in a leaf pile, painting a pumpkin and eating pizza. Thank you to Gunta, Shirley Williams and Gloria for helping at registration. Dianne and Donna Randall for serving up pizza and drinks. Tim and Gina for helping kids ring bags of candy. Saisa and Lauke for stocking the leaf pile with candy. Julie and Brooke for reeling in the kids at the fishing game. Holly and Linda Richter for helping everyone pick and paint a pumpkin. And to Cal and Irv for making sure no one used there hands while bobbing for apples. A special thanks to Dan Winch for donating all the pumpkins and to Steve Schmitt for helping out with the pizzas.

Mark your calendars for the Live Nativity which will be held on Saturday December 8th. There will be three performances this year, 3pm, 4pm, and 6pm. Chili will be served from 4pm-6pm. Please call Sarah Danz at 767-6017 for more information or if you would like to volunteer (before you are asked).
