Worship This Summer 

In June, Midland UMC will be returning to our Summer Worship Schedule. Please keep your calendar posted in a handy place so that you can refer to it and quickly see when worship time and locations will be adjusted. 

Here’s the basic run-down: 

May 31st will be the last Sunday of two worship services at 8:30 and 10 AM for the summer.  

The next Sunday, June 7th, will include worship ONLY at 9 AM. Through August, Sunday morning worship will only be at 9 AM.  

As an alternate to Sunday Morning Worship, we will be having mid-week worship on Wednesday evenings.

This will be called "Faith & Fellowship" and will begin June 17th. "Faith & Fellowship" is designed as an alternative worship time, for those who are traveling or gone on the weekend. The worship style will also be more relaxed and based more on praise and worship style music. 

Our "Faith & Fellowship" Evenings will look like this: 

5:45 PM – 6:25 PM Free Dinner provided in the Fellowship Hall 

Come anytime between 5:45 and 6:25 for a family-friendly dinner. 

We encourage families to come and eat dinner together! 

6:30 PM Praise & Uplifting Worship 

6:45 PM Kids 2-12 dismissed for Midweek VBS 

The theme for Midweek VBS is "SonWorld" and will explore various bible themes and stories each week.  

7:30 PM Head home!

Information on Highway 14 road construction

The resurfacing of US Highway 14 in western Dane County, began April 15th. The project will extend eight miles from the west village limits of Cross Plains through Black Earth, to the east village limits of Mazomanie. The project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2009. Highway 14 will remain open to through-traffic until mid-June. Starting June 15th, through-traffic will be detoured using WIS 78, WIS 19 and WIS 12.  Local traffic will have access to residences and businesses in the work zone at all times during the project.
